This museum is dedicated to the history of The British Columbia Regiment (Duke of Connaught's Own), a reserve Armoured Cavalry regiment. The regiment is tasked with providing qualified armoured soldiers to assist the Regular Force in meeting Canada’s military commitments. |
Displays
The Regimental Museum displays regimental issue firearms from the late 1800’s to modern times, as well as captured World War One and Two firearms and other militaria. Authentic uniforms and related items from all eras of our history are displayed alongside a significant medal collection ranging from the Crimean War to the conflict in Afghanistan. Displays include many trophies, trench art pieces, personal items, historic pictures, helmets, letters, knifes, gas masks, flags, sweetheart lockets and pins and much more. Open on special request.
